Help! I'm looking for some kind person with a modicum of mechanical knowledge around the Sheffield area.

There is a 2l Pinto engined wide bodied westie for sale there (private) and ideally I'd like someone have a look over it for/with me (I can make it down myself on Thursday night / Friday morning, so ideally by then). If so can you e-mail me?

Tried the AA, but they cannot look at it as it is not a factory built car (what difference that makes I don't know)
