Need to prove to the missus there will other missus's there without an interest in the cars and other children for the nipper to play with.
How many of you are bring children and of what age.
Plus does anybody know if the pub has a playground ... Otherwise Natasha will need to bring some of her own (No adults allowed).
So I will sort the ball rolling.
Natasha .... 2 and a bit !

There is a play area outside with climbing stuff aswell as a huge grass area between one of the car parks and the Trent, well away from the road
Dave, even your sprog should find something to do
If anyone is worried about taking children, DONT BE it's all good fun and the sight of 200+ shiny romping, stomping hardware will keep 'em entertained for ages. It will me anyway

thought about buying a Vectra, but didnt think I would be able to cope with the razor sharp handling and awsome power delivery , plus i would get noticed every time i drive it, so went for the more subtle prodrive STi 7, but should get noticed more when i've got me smileys on it..
Cheers Steve.

thanx 4 that m8, will wait for postie to arrive now, (how big was that envelope ). Rovers for even older farts than me, bloke at work got a MG ZR160 (read rover 25) Nice motor, but he told me "its faster than any subaru on the road, & on a twisty road when driver skill also comes in to it the gap would be even bigger"........mmmmmmmmm. Obviously he's not heard about the Subaru Justy 1.3gx....
Cheers Steve.

If the weather is good I think the current Mrs Nix is coming, and she too is not particularly interested in cars. Our sprog is also coming although it is still inside The Wifes tummy! ( only 3 months to go *gulp*)

Honestly, from experience and going to other meets, they arent really fun for kids and partners days unless they are really into cars (in which case they will enjoy themselves), if they arent you will be there about half an hour possibly an hour if you eat .
Imagine you bump into an old mate in your local town how long will your kids stay quiet while you have a chinwag .

DemonDave,
...but (in response to Chrisp), as you are relatively local - come along anyway. It's a day out, and a wonderful opportunity to meet lots (and in this case, very lots) of potential new friends (for you, the missus and the little one).
If it turns out to be not your cup-of-tea then all that it has cost is a couple of gallons of Optimax.

Yep also forgot to say they are no hard and fast rules, drop in and out as you feel. The more the merrier really and it would be good to be involved in a meet of this size. I arent trying to put people off just being a bit realistic, dont come expecting loads of activities, entertainment (unless Mikey turns up with his band )
