Hi all a few of you know me and a mate now run our own midland car club www.midlanddriversclub.co.uk its been up and running for 6-8 months now we are planning a trip in 2010 below is the details.

Here's the idea guys.. You buy a car for no more than £500 ... make it ring trip worthy and we all go to Germany in our £500 cars. Ok its a bit Top Gear but here's the next idea... We do it for charity

This is just a starter thread and i'll add more ideas and times etc when we have them there is all ready 4-6 of us already looking for cars the trip normally costs £500 all in for 4 days inc fuel,ferry,hotell, ect ect

£500 for 4 days...... flaming hell how do you manage it for that?!? This weekend just gone, cost me over £1300 for me and the missus all in.

Yeah £1300 all in so thats 150 more than we spend not a great deal is it plus your spec c i know wont be that good on fuel and you do it **** loads lololo ????

Ferry £40 return
hotell £120 3 nights
Fuel depending on car and driver £150
Laps on the track 4-8 laps £70-140
3 days food £30 each day we have a big continentall breakfast at the hotell then go the track all day little snack and 1 main meal £30

£470 with 4 laps and £540 with 8 laps.

We have done it most of us 6-10 times and always spend around the £500 mark..
