Hi all! Would like to meet up with some of you in the Notts Derbyshire area ( sorry can't make april 7th as I have plans ). The problem is with me really I am a lady driver and a little apprehensive about these meetings as you all seem to know one another so well. Had a Scooby now for around 8 month which I love to bits,any suggestions gladly received.

I felt awkward the first time I met the Nottingham guys for the same reason you're uncertain. However, I am glad I did and once you have, you'll be glad too. Unless you drive like you have something to prove, there's nothing to worry about

You have a passion YOUR scoob as we have with ours Some of us travel 120 miles+ to come to meets like this. It's a social event not a "cruise" IMHO
After the meet you will need to get an extra part time job to pay for all the goodies you'll see there

Don't worry about it....we're not a bad bunch
I drive like an old bloke and the rest ain't bothered. Excellent social scene, and with any luck, we might get the regular sessions going again at the Goose in Gamston (ear defenders recommended, as some of the karaoke is..er.... I'll not go there

Funnily enough I just posted something asking if anyone's been to the Goose recently. As they all said, friendly bunch. I was also apprehensive about meeting them, though the first time I met any of the 'locals' was at 06:00 in the morning before going down to Silverstone in convoy last September for Trax 2001. Just don't ask me about my track session...
