hi guys do not mean to step on anyones toes i know there is a meet on 1st sunday of the month but a few fellow scooby owner's on the SIDC have arranged a meet on sunday the 24th august (bank holiday weekend) at 11:30am at the needle and awl in rushden address is, northampton road

there is a nice big car park for all of us to park together
needle and awl is children friendly
and a bonus is that meals are 2 for a £10
so come on guy's and gal's get yourself's there all are welcome

Would like to have popped in but don't think i'll get the new engine built installed and mapped in time !!!

 

should have around 15 scoobys turning up so looking good,but plenty room for more.
finchyboy i live around wellingborough area must have see you around hope the new engine rebuild is going ok.
morebhp were abouts in northants are you from.

 

Might come along to this Equidistant between our Wellingborough workshop and our house. Not sure whether we will have a Scoob to come in though but you never know I will see if I can get some other local owners to come along.

Yeah maybe seen you around i have a black sti looking blobeye wagon and i live in wellingborough. My engine spat the dummy a couple of weeks so i'm having Pete whitfield
- whitfield race engines -
build me a 2.5 fitting a 20g to it so should make a nice road car.

Just spoke to Paul and he is up for an impromptu dyno shootout in the afternoon if anyone is interested? Probably get through about 6 cars between 3 and 5pm. We have a Dastek 4wd rolling road dyno and plenty to look at in our workshop

Normal price for a power run is £50 +vat but we could do it for £40 inclusive.
If anyone is keen they can get their names down in advance, or you can freestyle it and make your mind up on the day! But bear in mind that there would need to be 5 or 6 people to make it feasible.

Forgot to say - the bed of the dyno is fully adjustable so we can cater for different wheelbase cars and 4wd, fwd or rwd and even Hummers!

well what a top day yesterday was good to see 15 scooby's in the end turn up not to bad for the first meet was good to meet some of you again a BIG thank you to liz and paul for doing a mini dyno shootout and andy t for helping paul

 

argh gutted i missed the meet been havin probs with my wagon turned out to be plugs they had a 2mm gap so popped some new ones in and what a difference im in daventry but always in northampton

 

glad you got it sorted mate
will be arranging another meet in october hopefully the 24th of october, then do a monthly meet from then
