Any one else heard about the jap+ford show at thorsby
A friend said its this sunday --- info please

 

Andy, just done a quick google and it seems Thorsby is this weekend, I couldn't find the offical site though only some info on one of the Ford owners club site. Hope this helps

 

Would have gone to this as its local, although usually pretty crap and quiet tbh. But im off to Italy pizza here I come.

YES THERES ABOUT 12 OF US GOING DOWN SHOULD BE GOOD DAY IT USUALLY IS A VERY WELL TURNED OUT SHOW

 

I'll be there too! I'm going with a couple of mates who have MR2's. We're meeting at McDonalds in North/South Hykeham, Lincs at 9am and probably leaving about 9:15am.

From what I can gather:

Start: 10am

Cost £7 for adults

Day includes: Japanese cars from classic to modern era's, Auto Jumble, Club Stands, a Deer Park and I think some Trade Stands.

Finish: 4pm

went two years ago its a good show from memory and yes its still on

 

yeah the show is still on its a great show been going for years but last year was a wash out because of the weather so come on lads and lasses get yourself over its dont cost much http://www.classicshows.org/JAPSnorth.htm

 

Ive been for the last 3 years. Its a bit amaturish and only a handful of stalls. Still a nice afternoon out and a good place to meet with other clubs. They should improve the range of events happening on the day.

 

Make sure you guys pop over and say hello,we will be there pretty mobhanded this year i feel,expecting around 30-35 cars(ajust for drop-outs etc)so should be a good day,just prey the weather forcast is wrong

What was it like good or wet

 

TBH it was pretty poor, one trade stand, doughnut stall and a coffee stall and the buggers still wanted £7 per person entry fee Cant see this show lasting much longer, midland scoobies turned up with 30+ cars, and all have said the same, so next year it may be scrubbed off the calender

 

doughnuts were nice though

 

Indeed they were but 5 for £2 might get me a doughnut making machine

 

i've already looked, none on ebay at the min,,, pmsl

 

have to agree a good turn out from the varous clubs but the trade stands or lack of em was terrible
