Elan Dams meet 5th May... NOT HAPPY..
Well i've flicked on the PC to-day to catch up on events and I have had a few e- mails about the Dams meet.!!!!
It appears that we had 1 or 2 muppets along which has spoiled the event and upset the the local farmers and national park ranger
It has also possibly ruined the Mid Wales section fav meeting point
I am pleased to say that the muppets involved were NOT from South Wales Scooby's and if they had have been they would have no longer been welcome at our events
I dont know the people involved in this but they are stupid enough to post this vid, How sad.

I also understand that the persons involved were ragging up and down the road as if it was some sort of quarter mile strip
I hope that Richie b can smooth things out with the locals and all i can say is its disapointing that people have behaved like this on a family event and that they are NOT welcome to any future South Wales scoobys events
I know that Tony from the Mid's section will also be disapointed to hear of this as in the past we have had some great meets with no problems.

It's a great shame, i seriously can't see why people feel the need to spin round in circles as soon as the spy an open patch of ground.
Must have been something in the air yesterday as we had a Scoob and a Focus RS turn up at our meet and preceeded to tear up the grass, and then denied all knowledge, their reply "f**k em i'm don't care" was overheard by our members again as in your case we have a couple ruining it for the other 100 or so that turn up at our meets

just shows you the type that now own scoobs, loweringthe tone springs to mind. its agreat shame a small number spoil it for the rest and give everyone a bad name.

In some cases the dust will not settle for a long time i have been over to the Mid wales guys a couple of times now and had two fantastic days out 
majority of the Locals were tolerant of our brief blasts 
we respected other drivers and local surroundings and still enjoyed ourselves 
why do these ****** morons have to wreck it for everyone else 
don't think Richie "B" will repair this one that quick as i understand the Ranger is hard to get on with at the best of times 
Somebody knows who these ******* are, lets stop ***** footin about, as already said name and shame em 
next thing will be PC Plod stoppin every bloody scoob for the sheer hell of it and making all our lives hell

To day I have recieved an e-mail from the Elan valley ranger in reply to the mail that I sent to him and all is well
I wont go into what I said/he said but suffice to say all groups are welcome back anytime so no lasting damage done.
I hope this serves as a lesson to those responsible that everything has a time and a place.

I know I am not anywhere near Wales, but it just goes to show you that some people (and I mean as a whole) jump in mouth 1st and presume that because someone was acting a bit silly that that's the end of the world without actually trying to sort it out or waiting for a reply
