As a new member to ScoobyNet but an avid subaru owner and fan for 6yrs "technology" is not my strong point!!

I want to acknowledge David from API and Pat (my Mapper) for building and tuning my Subaru Impreza WRX STI V3 Type R 555 Special Edition ( 1 of 250)

With 2400 miles on my fresh engine me and my wife arrived at Avon Park, Shakespeare County Raceway at 11am on Sunday 22nd April, and by 11.34.51sec I had completed my 1st 12.2 sec 1/4 mile, then proceeded to acheive five further 12.2sec consistant 1/4 mile...!

Considering my rear tyres are "Falcon" and shot to pieces, and running standard tyre pressure (straight off the road) I was delighted.

I was even more delighted when was my name was announced over the PA system as Shakespeare County Raceway's 4 cylinder Street Car Class winner..!!!!!!

Whilst we where there I met Renton from SCCE who pulled out the bag an outstanding 12.9 sec standing 1/4 ....which I have since found out he did WITHOUT using his clutch...!!!!

We can confirm that we will be attending the SCCE gathering at the Oak in Bagington at 1pm on Sunday pm, along with my car and my trophy (the one from Avon raceway....as well as the Wife...!!)

Mr Clarke is an exception, we've seen him out driving, he gets the 'GOLD STANDARD' warranty. 3 miles or 3 minutes whichever sooner.

Metro was one many sad vehicles on the list, joined by some cool ones 2!!

And they've already seen my driving and oooo let me think I have manged to upset anyone to the point where we got banned YET!!!!
