Sounds similar to the ones on the M4 bridges around Swansea / Cardiff.

Noticed them on the Rally GB.

We had a Bell 330 and Geodesy in car, never went off (Geodesy had been updated Thursday so the downloaded database was almost bang upto date).

Apologies - posted this in the General Questions section but received little attention - thought there might be some local interest here?

Has anyone else seen the new bridge-mounted cameras (across all three lanes) both north and south bound between M5-M42 Jn and M5 Jn5? They're not SPECs, nor are they Traffic Master (unless its a new design). They seem to have a sensor and video attached and have appeard over the past few days. Anyone know of their purpose?

I spotted some new ones as well M42 southbound just south of Tamworth Jcn with A5, not like other specs devices nor like traffic master, I don't have a detector so can't tell you if they have any output but sound just like the ones you mentioned.

Does anyone know ???

There are some of these over the M6 just south of J3 as well. No idea what they are...

me and a mate were racing to birmingham and we were flashed by camera's doing 120mph at the m5,m42 juction a week ago. we haven't heard anything from anyone (police etc) so i dont know exactly wot their purpose is... i am new on here so i thought i would mention it
