Come off the M45 at the 1st exit towards Daventry. When you get to Daventry turn left at the 1st r/b straight over next r/b right at next r/b straight over next r/b left at next r/b straight over next r/b by which time Long Buckby should have been signposted.

Thats the route I found on Tomtom but if a local says its the best, it's the way I'm going.
