Subaru (Westaway Motors) - thankyou
I've travelled up from South Wales to visit my Mum in Corby this weekend and my CEL light came on permanently at the start of my journey.
It was still on the next morning (Saturday), so I phoned the nearest Subaru main dealer at Westaway Motors Welford Rd, Spratton.
He said that if I got there by 11:45am they run a full diganostics check and it would be £25.
I got there early and told him about my ecutek remap (MY01 WRX), mods, etc and he plugged in the data monitor and ran through the checks then checked a few bits in the engine bay.
He found an Engine missfire error stored but couldn't find anything wrong with the diags so reset the ecu as requested by me. He then waived the £25 and sent me on my way with a smile
A big thanks - good, friendly customer service for a change and it really helped me out 100's miles from home.
I can't remember the guys name but a big "Thankyou!"
A highly recommended dealership.
