Question

As a new boy (almost a virgin) is anybody doing anything in and around the Cov area as the nearest meets seem to be in Worcester
From a lonely Scooby owner in need of ideas on what mods to do to his baby :confused

Hi TIMMY shhh timmy (south park)

You can join me on a trip to work tommorrow morning (Sunday). 5.45am start meet you at the Bagington airport roundabout on the A45 and take a sweeping blat to the other side of town. Shouldnt take to long about 5 - 7 mins.

Only kidding what do you drive ?

If you spot a green UK MY98 with prodive front and rear spoilers (silver wheels) give us a wave.

Hi,

MLR have tried to arrange Evo meets in Warwickshire area a couple of times. We only managed one and my car was at the Garage at the time

If you want to try a Scooby/Evo and anything else interesting meet, we may be able to get a proper turn out. We can compare dump valves, warped disks etc.

I drive a White E6 with red mud flaps, just in case paths cross on the A45.

Cheers

Hey Tim

You missed it yesterday. There were two imprezas on Stoney Stanton Road. One being me and Mrs NM and the other someone else in a silver 4dr going the oposite directions.

Waves and light flashes were exchanged.

Its a good start in the right direction.

Cool

I'm originally from the Warwickshire area (now in Berkshire) and my family still live there, so if you arrange something I might be able to pop along...

I drive a Toyota Avensis at the moment as my car is at a dealership having some work done on it

However, under normal circumstances a MY00 Wagon with full Scoobysport exhaust, and the ever infamous pimp tint

Ok, so we got some imprezas, a Legacy, an Evo and one ultimate driving machine

Sorry couldn't resist, if we do a drive just watch the 330 D driver smile as I fill up for the nth time.

Is a Type R a Scooby or a Honda? I thought it was RA, someone will have to teach me the Scooby lingo.

How about a venue, any ideas?

Once we get a meet, I will put a post up on the MLR forum, we may get a little more interest.

Cheers

I travel from Brum to work in Coventry. I don't see many Scoobs along the A45.

I drive a MY00 DBM - standard spec. (At the moment).

LOL at NM

I have no idea what the MLR forum is?! You must ba asking the wrong person.

You'll have to ask the Nurburgring crowd about my Beemer. They'll tell you how slow it is!

Anyone want to meet up sometime?

MattOz - Correct with MLR answer.

I'm still confused about Type R, someone explain isn't it a Honda?

Good idea/venue Waterman, wrong night. It's always really crowded on Wednesday and it's sunny at the moment. How abouth giving people a chance to read thread.

I reckon that Type R in this case is an STI Type R ( 2 door jobbie). Used to have one myself.

It's howling it down in Warwick at the moment, having just come up the A46 from there. It's unlikely that there will be loads of bikes at the Waterman tonight if it continues.

I'll probably go up and have a look anyway.
