As a new boy (almost a virgin) is anybody http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif doing anything in and around the Cov area as the nearest meets seem to be in Worcester
From a lonely Scooby owner in need of ideas on what mods to do to his baby :confused

MrSprint 04 August 2001 05:57 PM

Hi,

MLR have tried to arrange Evo meets in Warwickshire area a couple of times. We only managed one and my car was at the Garage at the time http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

If you want to try a Scooby/Evo and anything else interesting meet, we may be able to get a proper turn out. We can compare dump valves, warped disks etc.

I drive a White E6 with red mud flaps, just in case paths cross on the A45.

Cheers

Charles

Waves and light flashes were exchanged.

Its a good start in the right direction.

I drive a Toyota Avensis at the moment as my car is at a dealership having some work done on it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

However, under normal circumstances a MY00 Wagon with full Scoobysport exhaust, and the ever infamous pimp tint http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Scott

MrSprint 07 August 2001 08:14 PM

Ok, so we got some imprezas, a Legacy, an Evo and one ultimate driving machine http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Sorry couldn't resist, if we do a drive just watch the 330 D driver smile as I fill up for the nth time.

Is a Type R a Scooby or a Honda? I thought it was RA, someone will have to teach me the Scooby lingo.

How about a venue, any ideas?

Once we get a meet, I will put a post up on the MLR forum, we may get a little more interest.

Cheers

Charles

NeilS 07 August 2001 08:41 PM

I travel from Brum to work in Coventry. I don't see many Scoobs along the A45.

MattOz 08 August 2001 11:31 AM

LOL at NM http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I have no idea what the MLR forum is?! You must ba asking the wrong person.

You'll have to ask the Nurburgring crowd about my Beemer. They'll tell you how slow it is! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Anyone want to meet up sometime?

Matt

MattOz 08 August 2001 11:33 AM

MLR could be the Mitsubishi Lancer Register?!

MattOz 08 August 2001 11:41 AM

Anyone fancy the Waterman Pub at Hatton this evening, 8th Aug, from about 8pm ? Normally a bikers meet on a Wednesday, but with the weather as it is.............

Just an idea. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Matt

MrSprint 08 August 2001 01:24 PM

MattOz - Correct with MLR answer.

I'm still confused about Type R, someone explain isn't it a Honda?

Good idea/venue Waterman, wrong night. It's always really crowded on Wednesday and it's sunny at the moment. How abouth giving people a chance to read thread.

MattOz 08 August 2001 03:24 PM

I reckon that Type R in this case is an STI Type R ( 2 door jobbie). Used to have one myself.

It's howling it down in Warwick at the moment, having just come up the A46 from there. It's unlikely that there will be loads of bikes at the Waterman tonight if it continues.

I'll probably go up and have a look anyway. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Matt

NM 08 August 2001 03:50 PM
