Listen up!

My band GRIDLOCK have made it through to the finals of a national battle of the bands type competition

We saw off competition from 452 other bands and now find ourselves in the big time spot light.

The venue will be Rock City in Nottingham and the date is Thursday 8th August.

If you like ya music loud, hard, heavy and not the stuff you'll find in the charts and you like a good stage show, get ya ***** down there and give us a cheer

The venue will be teeming with press, t.v crews (MTV here we come ) groupies (Salsa! )and a bunch of thoroughly nice people.

If ya wanna let off some steam and be dazzled by energy, you should stick it in ya diary.

Rock City has informed us that the venue will be VERY full so the atmosphere will be brilliant.

So come on down if ya fancy a change from your usual townie excursions

What duya wear? I don't know......you townies I suppose that's why dress codes came about, not to improve the level of clientele, but to give you clubbers a guide as to what to wear

Have you never had the urge to go out on the beer in ya jeans, t-shirt and trainers and not have to worry about designer labels or what people think about ya attire?

Wear what you like old boy you'll not get turned away at the door after all ya mates have just gone in (Bouncers actually want you to have a good time at Rock City )

As for the telly thing...........well, this could be ya 15 seconds of fame if you know what I mean. Cue Salsa-Phil....InstaManager
