So - Who's going and who wants to meet up for a decent convoy down that way?
Convoy stands at 2 or 3 at the moment.
Squizz, Fizz, & Matty_B by the sound of it...
Who's up for it? Should be a great day, come rain or shine.

Love to but can't - won't have me car back in time.
Westaway Motors - GET ON WITH IT!
In all fairness the assessors took 16 days to get around to assessing my car - IMHO not good enough - the repairs will take less time to do.

you need to get in touch with Stef at SIDC asap to get onto the Scooby paddock - tickets are £6 per adult (£2.50 for kids, but I don't think he's got them, but you can pay for the little uns on the day). Email me if you need more info, but Stef should answer his phone!
& No, I dont want to lose my bits either

Squizz,
I've got three track runs but don't know what time I have got to be there by . When I find out let you know.
If your convoy will "get me to the church on time" would love to join in, Even though it may and a tank of fuel to the journey
Tony

Tony,
I'm told if you are on track you need to be at Coombe by 8.30am at the very latest. Something about a briefing first or sommit.
Cheers

It's a long and boring story.
At least I didn't have an accident by driving into another vehicle at a set of traffic-lights on my way home!
Ian - You coming to this one?

Castle Coombe is a great circuit - Very fast. At least it was before they added those bloomin' chicanes either side!
One word of advice: from the Start/Finish straight you'll sweep right up an incline. This is "Avon Rise". There is a bump near the top which is just before a left hooker into Quarry (big harpin thing). Be careful on the brakes at Avon Rise and keep it straight, or when the back end goes light under braking the bump can cause rear lock up and spin you out...
Dunno about those chicanes - Never driven it with those about.
We'll be cheering you on, anyway!
(Now where did I put that spare can of go-juice?!!)

Cambelt,
From the sound of it, it will be a blinding day for spectators. Castle Coombe is a great circuit for spectators as you can easily walk around the circuit and get good viewing. So for watching all the track sessions, should be good.
Also, the sheer number of 'proper' rally cars that are due to turn up, including some of the more historic motors, will make the day more interesting still.
Then you have got all the trade stands, Pentti A and Russ S. doing their thing at lunchtime etc. etc.
Just hope the weather holds.
As for security ? Well, just bury your Scoob in with loads of others in the car park, safety in numbers and all that.
Cheers

Guys,
Yep, I'll be there, but probably heading down from Cheltenham 'cause I've got a heavy night Friday night, hence, I'll see you there I'll probably be around the Powerstation/Litchfield Imports stand at some point in the day.
Cheers

I'm shocked to the core that you should ask such a thing...
"You pay's yer money, you takes yer choice..."

Cambelt,
To be honest we are all normal law abiding Scooby owners
Except for one meet when some over-enthusiastic owners came from afar(Nice lads actually ) and mistook the pub exit as a pit lane exit The main trouble is that the pub is in a 30mph SNOBBY area(where a big wig bobby lives).
Any way on a Sunday whislt the gardener is mowing the lawn and afternoon tea is being served They would have even moaned about a Scooby doing 25mph in 2nd gear let alone five giving it large .
As Squizz said<B>" time to move on and remember not to Sh*t on our own doorstep"</B>
see you at Castle Combe or the next meet.
Squizz,
Give me an update on Richard A please
mail me off line if you wish T5NYW@AOL.COM

RIGHT!
For anyone going down the M5 from above Worcester on Saturday, You should find that myself and a couple of others will be at Strensham Services (next to the M50 junction) From 8.30am to 9.00am.
With a decent cruise through all the roadworks, etc, we should still get there well before 10.30am.
All in favour say "Aye!"

Aye!!
I'll be there at Strensham about 8:30am (and I'm bringing the missus!!). I've got tickets on the way from Stef so will we be in time to get in the SIDC paddock or not?
Is the Hallow meet on/off or are we meeting elsewhere from now on?
Cheers

We've all got tickets on their way from Stef - Allegedly!
It shouldn't matter what time we get there really, as there should be space for those that have booked.
I'll be with my fiancee' too (Just ignore Mr.Askew - They've been "messing with his mush" !
Seeya there.

Richard,
Nice to here your back if you had said Iam pretty steady with a drill could of saved you the wait .
Ive got to be there at 8:30 so see you there. Got my lowest score last week on a tank 120miles but I enjoyed every minute . Getting her service at Worcs this Thursday, get them to find leak .
Saw the Ring pics but couldn't get the video to run
With all these big EVO and SCOOBY's there give a little cheer to the under powered <B>W4LLS</B>.

Fizz - You could always stay over on Friday night at my place.
(I included that one just for you Rich! Besides, you're only jealous)
Yosser - Cool, I'll keep an eye out for ya!
Tony - Don't worry about your power deficit compared to the other cars. You just let us look after the box with your brain in as normal, whilst you go on track and try to bring down the global economy with your appetite for fossil fuel!!!
Ian (IWatkins) - Look forward to seeing you there.

Cambelt -
Dont worry too much about us Worcs lot - I met them for the first time last month and once I'd gotten over the fact that most of them are.... anyway we had a laff (until the next day when we found the locals had been "upset")
Join in the mele - hope to see ya
Matthew
PS ignore the comments about Sqizz - its just someone getting jealous
PPS at least I'll not be the only Castle Coombe virgin
