Next RWYB at the Pod is 7th May, I shall be making it this time. It would be great to see some of you guys there, the more Scoobies the better. Stef, Shaun and I will be there in full.

The VW Bash is the week before guys, it will be a normal day of running. The Water Injection is running great John, with a 10% mix of methanol with water. A few more miles until it's completely running perfectly.

Sounds like fun!

What do you need to get out on the 'strip? Helmet? Any other safety devices? Do I need to book a place? How much does it cost? Does it get cancelled if it rains on the day? Er ... insurance?

Andrew,

No safety devices needed except for seatbelt that works! You just turn up on the day, price is around £8 to get in and £10 to get on the strip. If it rains they hold off until the strip dries out, with their machinery, that's quick! Insurance I can't answer, never asked mine as it's very safe and there is an unlikely chance you will swerve into the barrier wall . If you decide to come, turn up early 9-10 when it quiet.

Harj has begged me to run down the strip, next week. Even with my knackered boost, he is telling me >13.'s <13.2's would be attainable. I agreed, but said I don't want anyone taking the P!SS if i did'nt (I wonder who ). Knowing that my pukka excuse, of the boost problem would not be taken into consideration, by CERTAIN people.

When it's fixed, i'll be there

I go to these v-bud things with some mates, as the sat night parties are the best. I have to say that they usally let a selection af cars on the strip? so I'm not totally sure if it vw's only. I will not be taking my P1 as I only got it last friday, and don't fanncy taking it on a grassy field.
