as above the very loved scooby is being pick up. i have had some great drives in that car and some of you know me i have had some very bad drives in that car.

but it has always put a smile on my face when i drive the car and when people point at her as i drive past.

i have made some good freinds by comming on here and going to meets i hope to keep intouch with you all mite even turn up at a longeaton meet you never know.

i must say a BIG thanks to kev at Scoobyclinic and all the staff for all they have done for me and my scooby over the past 3 years the car looks and drives super. as it will for a long time to come as long as the new owner looks after her as good as i did.

she will be washed cleaned inside ready to be picked up looking 110% for the new owner.

so a sad fair well to you all

Mate, you know I know just how you feel, nearly are year since my pride and joy drove off into the sunset. I don't mind telling you I shed a few tears, I know you say "you soft tw@t, it's only a car", But I proper loved that bit of metal and plastic.

You will have another one Mick, a better one!

That keeps me going untill the new one arrives even if I have to wait 3 years!

See you soon mate keep in touch.

All the best Mick

Amazing how many people are selling them I know including me.

Well chuffed with my new car, even with the few niggles Ive had plus I am enjoying open top driving, cheaper insurance, 30 + mpg and it still does 0-60 in 6 sec and 150 mph

Did the same last week. Was a sad moment handing the keys of the P1 over to the stealer, but felt that it was hi time to move on. Chopped in the bmw convertible at the same time too. No longer a two car + toy car family, only two car now. I might consider going back to a scoob, but have eyes set on a Noble M12 GTO in the new year if I can get someone to insure me reasonably. The RS6 will have to do for now until I can get the 3rd car/toy

Default Nearly a sad day too

Wooooooh! That was a close one. I too nearly had to sell my beloved bug eye WRX. When i bought the car, it was supposed to be a stop gap for 6-12 months. A bit of fun. Not a long term investment..... but then i added an exaust and air filter. Then the lights, and side repeaters oh and the wing reflectors. Moved onto the interior. Had the entire auto glym range...... I can go on. 12 months later i lost my job!!!!!!
I had the day booked in for the exaust to be removed and started removing all the bits to flog on ebay, but then i got a new job!

I was'nt worried about the lack of money, but the thoght of selling my scoob devistated me. And my wife, oh and my little bro (who off the back of my scoob bought a brand new 05 plate WRX in the same colour and sti spoiler) By the way, locally we are now known as the scoobs brothers. lol

Anyway, other than running off the rust on my disks, ill be back on the road. Not sure if i can afford the High Peak run, but looking forward to the next notts meet.

Once a scooby fan, always a scooby fan!
