Peak Tour - Sun 13th Nov 05
Both Paul (Scooby66) and I have had a number of you ask when the next Peak Tour is gonna be - so we are looking at organising one for Sunday 13th November 2005.
It will be a mixture of old and new but, as always, some cracking roads to drive. If you want in add your names to the list below

I'll be up for this one Marv, not sure what i'll be in though. Got a scooby 2.5 at the moment but i realy miss my evo so i'll be going back to it soon I reckon!
It's shocking, after 13 scoobys, just 1 evo 6 can get me hooked to the dark side! Still got the love for the scoob though

Hello mate, would like to come on my virginal peak tour, however got a few questions. Where to meet, what start time, is there a lunch stop, approx how far and does it finish where it started.
Many thanks, Wolfie

We normally start about 10am from the Retail Park on Sir Frank Whittle Way in Derby. There is a lunch stop, sometimes another stop for coffee (or pee break!) - we finish between 3-4pm covering anything from 120-140 miles. The route is given out on the day. It is very much a family thing and lots do bring a car full. It isn't about bling or power, its a great drive out with fellow Subaru enthusiasts.
Hope that clears it up a bit for you - speak to anyone whose been on one and they'll tell how much fun it is.
See you there mate

THIS IS NOT A RACE
Drive at a pace you are comfortable with
Do not feel pressured to drive faster by others
REMEMBER THE RULES OF THE ROAD
Observe all traffic signs – they are there for a reason!
Only overtake when it is safe for YOU to do so
DRIVE SAFELY
Be patient and considerate to other road users
‘Read’ the road, drive accordingly & maintain a safe distance
ENJOY
There’s something for everyone

Thanks very much for that. See you there

Just a note. If anyone lives around the Grantham/Melton area and fancies a couple of hours out this Sunday (16th) we are having a little run in the Vale of Belvoir. The thread is on Scoobynet midlands if your interested.
Cheers, Wolfie.
