Don't know too many people around here with scoobs. Looking at setting up a Leics forum to arrange meets/ drives etc. Anyone interested?

It can be where anyone wants it to be. I am about 15 miles from Hinckley so can go pretty much anywhere (I've been to Chesterfield for a drive so no stranger to distance) If we can arrange a meet that is central to everyone.
As I said I am setting up a Leicester forum for all this, I can send the URL to anyone that is interested.

There should be a Midland scoobies meet this Sunday at Shardlow, not too far from Leicester.

Mid Scoobs meet was last Sunday, mate. It's on the 1st Sunday of every month.

I was thinking more of a drive than a meet! There are some good roads around here that deserve a good Scooby bashing

Yes, sorry about the D8 M8, Got my first and second of the months mixed up. Went to the previous one for first time, missed this months coz I was at Trax.

I went to a little village in Leicestershire called Ashby Folville, near East Goscote, on second Tuesday last month. This was awesome. Not really a Scooby event. Something for everyone really, a big must for any petrol head. Plenty of Scoobs in the Car park. The was one Scooby, a 22B in the main field, plenty of others in the car park field, mine and my M8s for 2.

It's on Each Second Tuesday evening of month. Get there before 6.30 for a parking space. Unbelievable machinery. Not sure it's alway like this. Anybody out there know?

Not me I think, didn't go to ESCC. Easy mistake though, there are plenty of Bywaters in ES though. The Post Office was run by a Bywater. Loads of people ask me the same thing. But I only moved here about 7 years ago.

No favourites mate, but all the roads round here are good. You can push out towards Market Bosworth and Twycross...Some excellent roads!! Spend all day out on them!

I'll be up for the Leicester meets I'm in Nuneaton but no stranger to travelling. Only one problem ... Mines a GL not a turbo so drives are a nono for me would never keep up with you all. If its a meet like the Mid scoobs meet count me in ...

there is a knack to driving with the window down ... Tie your hair up (although the other half don't understand it)

Same server I think mate....Not trying to step on any toes mate!! I still post regularly on the Mids site! Going to have links to Mids Scoobs on there as well for regional stuff, etc!
There is only so much you can do with the layout anyway. All the forums I have been on are the same in almost every way!
