Default A449 Kidderminster -> Worcester - What they up to now??

They've coned off 1 lane all the way from Ombersley turning to past that off-camber bend where everyone likes to die.

Anyone know what they are up to? Surely not f*cking up the road like they have on the other side... All they need to do is take the trees out and put barriers in instead. Then stupid people who can't go round a corner wont die and the rest of us can carry on as normal.

I think they are doing something similar to what they did on the other side unfortunately.

That used to be a great road a few years ago and then they put all the 50 signs in and made parts of it single lane.

I'm sure barriers would be cheaper and keep traffic flow up. I completely ignore the 50 there anyway apart from the bit past the school. Just gotta keep mince pies peeled for cops !

They used to sit on the bends when I travelled those roads a few years ago, don't know if they still do?

Luckily I don't have to drive up that way very often, but every time I do they seem to have spoiled a perfectly good road with even more stuff to annoy the hell out of everyone.

Are all the flashing cat's eyes still there ?

Yup your right they are making it all 50 mph! What a load of ****e! Its bad enough going through those 50s as it is let alone making the whole length of the A449 50mph! Both ways as well when they have finnished!

I need a new route to work. Trouble is if i go up Droitwich road i'll waste loads of fuel having to overtake the 40mph dawdlers.

Glad you're not talking about me!! At least I'm going in the other direction - even my Metro wont let the 40mph snails rest in peace There's two particular cars I always seem to catch up with - even the tractor-drivers get peed off with them

Who's the owner of the white scoob with an (Irish?) plate that does the Kiddy to Detroit-wich route most mornings - I'd smile and wave if I was in my scoob

residents complained of racing after the 50mph bit to make up time.. the answer screw everyone up by making it 50 and put more mobile camer points to make the money to pay for it!!!! Of course if everyone stuck to the speed limits it would still all be dual track 70mph
