Anyone fancy a few local quiets? Sunday afternoons!!
Blimey it's full in here I remember the days when there were 10 threads in here if you were on a roll
Anyway, deffo not a bad thing
So i've had a look through some of the threads and they are all quality items and follow the tried and tested format of meet up, then either scoot off to look at cars, eat sunday lunch, families etc. Maybe even a bit of a blat if lucky enough to have the roads nearby.
I figured it might be cool to try a slightly different format, geared up for those folk who don't have all afternoon to give up, maybe only an hour or so or don't fancy charging around (C'mon we all have slow days ) or people who have never been to a meet before and just want to dip their toe before turning up at one of the more established meets. Or just feeling a bit woolley from the night before and need to get out of the house
A friend of mine and his wife have just taken over management of a pub in Basford. It's a proper pub that doesn't major in Selling Sunday lunches etc. Concentrates on getting the beer, atmosphere and customer rapport right first The atmosphere in the pub is really relaxed and the punters are cool as.. So if you fancy coming along to a meet where you don't need to have the fastest scoob (or even a shining example ) or some kinda degree in how your car works. If you want to nip into a friendly environment and talk rubbish for half hour, hour or so then giz a pm or e-mail and i'll tell you where
Oh Sunday the 25th of July by the way 12:00 onwards

Thanks for that Steve
I reckon even I can make this one seeing as it's MY local and I could walk there
Everyone who requested the venue have been PM'd
So anyone else fancy a few quiets?

I'll do my best to get there but I have a family thing on as well so could be difficult. We should have some Sunday evening meets through summer ? Or some mid week ones. Haven't done any of those lately. I feel a thread coming on
