Can anyone who will or might come to any of are area meets sign in so we can see what size venues we might require to look out for this year. First meet will be 20th feb 19:30 at the crown glinton.

No it's not too bad. Someone hit me in the car park at Autosport show and didn't stay to pay! Front wing and bumper. So having a couple of bits done while they've got the paint in the spray gun.

Hi Guys
I organise the Coventry area meets that see over 25 cars each month. I am currently working on and off in Wisbech along with Twisted Eye. He has mentioned that you are down on numbers which is a shame as I have seen quite a few Scoobies during my travels !
Here is what I do when sorting out my meets. In my experiences over the last 3 years these seem to work best
1. Have a time place and venue sorted before posting so that eveyone knows when and were it is happening.
2. Pick a Sunday afternoon meet when nobody is doing anything as mine attract families as well as the lads. Friday everyone is going out or crashing out from work.
3. Create a flier that you can slap on Scoobies windscreens as not eveyone knows about SN or has access to the net.
4. Once venue time and date is sorted email everyone you know will be interested with the info and a link to the webpage. Also email them a few days before as a reminder.
5. Update the very first post with all the latest info as people havent always got time to read pages of everyones posts.
6. Get friendly with your local Subaru dealer/tuner and hand them a bunch of fliers to make their cusomers aware of the meets. I regularly borrow a telescopic flag pole and banners from my local Subaru dealer for meets and shows in exchange for handing out some of their fliers.
7. keep the posts at the top of the Midlands section.
8. Post on other forums like P1, SIDC, etc etc
Hope this helps
Cheers
Neal
