just like to say that (even tho i wasnt there...bloody work) the midlands meet is getting bigger and better and seems to be becoming a very worthy day out, give yourselves all a pat on the back for getting involved.....this is what is so special about scooby ownership.

oh combined meet sounds great!! pre meet at Longeaton with your posse meeting at the say the festival and then we all meet up somewhere else?? kev has found a great pub in derbyshire with a massive car park and they would love to have us!!!

i was actually shocked to find i got 19mpg at the last fill although that is taking it VERY easy & off boost in the wet stuff 
& haven't had chance to drive her long enough to see how the oil goes but at £12 for 5 litres my little slag can drink as much as she likes 
lol yep not only georgous but a dirty little minx too perfik!

Ad is the pub in Derbyshire the one on the A619/A623??? There is one along there with a massive amount of parking space. Stopped there on a glorious sunny day with Sam for lunch last year on the way back from Grade A - cant remember the name though! Food was ok and nice gardens to the rear.

perhaps that'd do for Steve's Notts/Derby meet - a little (or not so little)convoy from a central meeting place up there via some entertaining back routes???

Hi guy's im back...... after 4 days with no internet access due to a techy fault and SN banned at work

It seems that we have outgrown the eaton farm pub after a year of great meets it is time to move on to a bigger venue!
We will still be using the eaton farm for a meeting point but then moving out in convoys to our newly arranged venue!!!!
It’s seem to us all that at most meets the scoob community seems to blend in with other customers at the pub, This is ok but I’m trying to sort out something a bit special just for us!
So we have managed to find our very own function room in a pub purely for our enjoyment!!
They only do a cavery on Sundays which is fantastic so if you want to eat either phone the pub direct (preferred) or just confirm if you want to eat when you put you name down. The pub has a huge car park and has a very long straight road opposite for you to calmly drive down to get to the meet!! Nudge nudge wink wink, The country roads on the rest of the way are great. The convoy from longeaton will last for approx 25miles so fill your tank if you have a heavy right foot (wanted!)
So the plan of action
We will meet at the Eaton farm pub at 12 o’clock.
13:00ish we will head out to the new venue convoy style!
Yes steve 777 you can lead a convoy!!!!!!(oh and me and marv!)
The convoys or convoy will then stop twice on the way to pick up more scoobs from other meeting points pre arranged if needed, these you can arrange amongst yourselves and we will sort the finer details out closer to the time.
We were going to time groups and the first & last to arrive will win prizes but this could get a bit messy so we might scrap that idea what do you reckon?
So meeting point 1=
12:30 @ Eaton farm pub
Wilsthorpe road
Long eaton
Notts
And then a nice big convoy approx 25 miles! all the way to the once secret location…………….
The main meeting point:
14:00 @THE FAMOUS RED LION
Darley Road
Stone edge (not Stonehenge!)
Chesterfield

Tel 01246 566142 ( get your food order in asap!)
This should be a great meet with convoys+prizes and the usual scoob banter!
It would be great to get over 50 cars we nearly did 50 at the last meet so we should beat the 50 barrier quite easily!!!
So come on then folks if you fancy a great day out with some good food then get your names down!!!!

might be a problem for me reaching Eaton Farm for 1pm (with me playing footy until 12:30 and getting showered after). so i'll need to know the route beforehand and intercept the convoy.
