Is anyone experiencing battery charing problems with Impreza WRX March 2003 model? I have been told by the dealer that the battery doesn't charge unless you've got something on eg heater. I'm experiencing problems with new batteries flat after a week.

Had the same problem with my STi8 (so have a number of other people). There is a known problem with the charging system on the cars. I believe Subaru are working on a fix.
