my mates brothers girlfriend works in the shop at the burton road shell garage, the staff have been told it won't open till the new year.

the garage at damons roundabout is a BP, don't know if they do the high ron stuff or not.

Thats bad news, when I spoke to guy in the shop about 2 weeks ago he said it was going to open on the 1 Dec (Monday), what an ****

Had a look on the Net and that BP ultimate is only 97ron so no better than normal super unleaded, still buying my Optimax at barkston outside granthem.

I sent an e-mail to Shell UK asking when the garage would reopen and also why the Total garage at Bracebridge Heath still appeared on the Shell garage locator on the net. I got the following reply (after nearly 3 weeks!).....

'Thank you for your email, sorry for the delay in responding.
I have checked with the manager at Shell Lincoln who informs me that the station should be re-open in the second week of December.
The shell station listed as Bracebridge Heath which is now a total garage should be removed from our database and I will inform the department who update the site details on the system to remove this.
Apologies for the inconvenience regarding the detour to get to the nearest Shell garage, but this will be resolved next month when the refurbishment of Shell Lincoln will be complete. '

So there you have it !!

Still get my main 'fix' from S****horpe (or Grimsby) but Lincoln is a handy watering hole if I am out that way.

i get ProBoost from TSL, its about £8 for a litre tin.
had the stainless steel headers and uppipe fitted yesturday.
wow, what a difference.
