Never been to a meet!
#2
Hi Simon
The East Mid meets have been in various places - a local pub with a big car park, the Tour of Derbyshire, the Big One 2002, Thoresby Jap Show, trip to Skeggy, plus, not forgetting ...... SCOOBY BALL!!
In terms of cost, there's no charge for coming to a meet - other than the petrol for the convoys & the drinks at the bar! When we've gone to things like Thoresby, then there is the admission cost. The Scooby Ball is a formal evening function though.
We tend to meet and talk about the cars (just a little) but we do talk about other things too! Baby Blue & I tend to bring the kids along if we can't get a sitter.
Hope that helps - come along to the Christmas Meet and meet the crowd!
