There are a few of us who meet quite regularly at Loggerheads on the Staffs/Shrops border. we probably cover the area from Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton and Stafford to Stoke and also including all areas within a 30 mile radius of these places.
We would like to get more people in the area interested, so let us know who you are.
We have a meet planned for next Sunday 19th October so if you are up for this get your name down.
Be good to get to know more of you locals.
Cheers
Nev

Hi Reno.
There's nothing to worry about m8. We are friendly people and not road ragers who have to take every corner flat out! (Only the real nasty ones!). No we are all enthusiastic and passionate about our cars, and have a meet every now and again to talk Scooby stuff.
So you have no need to get nervous. Be good to see you at our next meet (it is the nudist one on this forum. Sign up, (no one will turn up naked - I think!)
Cheers

Hi Etheridge. How are you mate.
I came to Loton with Nuclear Pond earlier in the summer to watch you race. Your car wasn't ready or something. Do you still have the Impreza or is it just the Evo now?
Be good to see you either way so stay in touch.
Good luck for Sunday, see you soon.

Nev,
Would be interested in coming along as well sometimes, but dont't think I can make 17th. When are you planning the next one.
For the record, I live in Stone, hence the username.

Thanks Chris.
Yes Simon the meet is on Sunday 19th at 4:00PM in Loggerheads Staffs. Not too far from you and you've got the nice twisty road to have a go at!
So if you can make it it will be good to see you there. The meeting post is the Naturist Meet at Loggerheads, so pop your name down and please wear clothes.
Hey Chris, where are you based and are you going to come along?

Mark,
Sorry for not replying sooner. Had it about 7 weeks. Its a blue sti8 with Prodrive kit, used to have a dark blue bug eye WRX.
Noticed a few more scoobys round Stone now, although some only seem to come out at weekends.
If you see me give us a thumbs up or something. What are you driving.

Simon, are you new to ScoobyNet, or did you post under a different name when you had the bugeye ?
I've already waved a couple of times, since you had the STI, once when you'd just had it, and were standing next to it and once on Sunday Morning, just gone, but your wife was driving.
You will know me, as I live just round the corner and I'm sure you hear me go past every morning at 6:45am
I own the red 98my UK Turbo with the STIv6 Spoiler and P1 Lip - you also used to see me in it when you had the bugeye, as we both had them serviced at Holdcrofts at the time, but I'm a TSL man now...
I'd love a looksee at the motor when you've got time, so feel free to give us a knock, you know where I am - and if not, I look forward to saying hello at the next meeting !

Mark,
Used to have a different login, but never used to post much before on scoobynet.
Yes, hear you most mornings, normally go out around 7:00am myself, so usually awake. If I am not out of bed when I hear your car, I know I am running late.
Will definitly pop round sometime over the weekend, if you are in.

I'm sure between us we probably get most of the estate up in the morning.
Do you know any other Scooby owners in Stone. See a few driving around.
Have you been to any other the local scooby meets, I keep thinking of going, but they are normally at times I have to ferry the kids around.
Catch yer soon, Simon

I went on Sunday to Loggerheads, and I've been to 2 other local meets. I've also been to a few national meets this year..
The winter meets tend to be more scarce and earlier, but We're going to try and get a Darlaston Inn meet organised.
I only know one other scooby in stone by name, but wave at some of the others - theres a guy with a red over gold classic, but he never waves !
My son, Sam, usually goes to the meets too. (He's in your lads year..)
Maybe we should travel to the next one together.
Cheers,
Mark

Shame we didn't see you on Sunday StoneSTI.
Mark, have you sorted your leak yet? It was good to meet up with you and look forward to seeing you at the next one.
Sounds like you 2 are the public alarm clocks for your estate then!
Yours does sound good though Mark.

Thanks V Much Nev
I've not had chance to look yet, though I'm keeping an eye on Skoosh's thread .....
I'm in at TSL for a service Sat morning, so I'm going to get them to take a looksee underneath - have you seen my 'crankcase pressure' thread in Drivetrain - I'm not sure its the answer, but it seems odd that 'suddenly' it starts leaking....
We'll all have to get together again soon, (And maybe I'll wash the car first this time )

Keep a lookout under the Midlands Forum. We usually put something up with a reference to the "Loggerheads Crew".
Incidentally we chose Loggerheads as it is halfway from most places we are trying to attract (Stoke, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, Nantwich etc). Theres a pub with a large car park too. This helps!!
Cheers
Nev
PS---> You could always arrange one yourself and invite everyone. Most people enjoy a meet, especially if you organise something with it like a drive or visit to somewhere etc.

Mark, email address sorted now.
Nev_B, maybe try and organise one once i've been to a couple. We could see how many we could get to drive around our estate in the morning. That way we would be really sure we had woken everybody up.

We also live in your neck of the woods, so if you spot a new mica blue 03 wrx (collecting it tomorrow morning) out and about, put your hand up.
How often are the meets and are they always listed on the site? Will keep an eye out.
Cheers Gaz
