I am a leaving Derby.. after nearly two years of working in Derby and travelling home to Kent at weekends I finally had enough..
Start new job in East Sussex (45minutes drive from home) on 13th October..
So anyone for a mid-week meet on say the Wednesday before.. 8th October I think it is..
I will be in town rather wrecked on the Thursday 9th.. people are more than welcome to join me then too but thought a car meet would be good on the Wednesday too?
Please post if interested in either or both
Cheers
Simon

Simon...
Don't go... get the missus to move up here!
Well done on the new job - bet you're looking forward to not travelling every weekend.
Mid-week meet sounds good, Dave was only saying that we ought to have another before winter sets in.
What time? More importantly, WHERE????
Rachael
PS - when you go, who am going to forget when writing up lists of attendees???

How about the John Thompson in Ingleby
They dont encourage such things and where downright rude when I wanted to organise a meet there!

Simon,
Do you mean something like the PLANK and LEGGIT just off the A50, or the CLOCK WAREHOUSE in Shardlow? I think I remember you bringing your bike to the Plank and L. once... but I could be wrong!

Kev,
No the route was great..
I was in no real rush to get home..
Cheers for the detour around Derbyshire.. I was slightly worried when you went right at a junction before the M1 and we then went around and around and past the same junction.. lol
My evening leaving do on Thursday is starting at 7 in the Island in town if anyone would like to join me.
See you next week

Right then MR JGM... Don't sound so excited at the thought of leaving us! (Though maybe its the thought of seeing us all on Wednesday! )
To confirm...
Wednesday, Plank and Leggit, 7pm onwards. Yes?
Good!
