The MSA have supplied us with a listing of all registered marshals, hence this E-mail to you requesting help.



Apologies if it is sent to you and you are not “RALLY MARSHAL”, the MSA listing does not differentiate between disciplines.



To all ex CDCC members within the listing, a ‘hello again’, hope to meet up with you at the event.



We, Cannock & District Car Club, are returning to the venue we have recently re-opened, Hixon Airfield, for a second event this year, and as usual are looking for a number of MARSHALS to ensure the event runs smoothly. The venue was successfully used in March of this year, not having previously been used for an event since the mid 70’s.



If you can help out by attending we would be extremely grateful.

We will, as usual, be holding a “Marshals Raffle” for all signed-on marshals as a small thank you for your services.



The first car is due to start at 08-30 and we would like all personal signed-on by 07-45 to ensure we are adequately covered and people are in place ready for the course opening car. We already have 2 Metro 6R4’s entered and indications are that more will follow.



If you can help us out, a reply to one of the above contacts would be appreciated. A simple return “cut & paste” of the slip below will suffice.



For anyone listed who lives within a reasonable distance of our Club HQ, The FIVE WAYS PH, Heath Hayes Island, Heath Hayes, Cannock, you will be more than welcome to come and meet us prior to the event, on Wednesday 3rd September, when we will be holding a pre event Marshals briefing / training night, any time after 9pm.

Not really tarmac - did the first event there in March and was slippery and slidy conditions with lots of mud..

Theres no spectator access at the landowners request so you will need to marshal if you want to go..
