Well, as you know Kev it certainly isnt a case of wanting to sell Scooby - in fact it will be a very sad day for me next Wednesday. Cars such as Mondeo,Focus,Vectra & Citroen Picasso (The Wifes choice) lead me into suicidal depression. I had to have something slightly unusual, stylish, relatively "powerful" yet economical to be able to cope with the 25k miles I will throw at it per year. Also Air Con and comfort were high on my priority list.
So.....an Alpha 156 2.4ltr JTD Veloce (top spec) has been ordered. Jan03 registered 10k miles- saved £5000.00 on new price.
Yes I know it probably wont get off the driveway - but hey, thats all part of the Italian charm.
Oh yeah - the depreciation...well the chap who traded it in for a GTV took the biggest hit. Still - buying a car always has been about suitcase & money over the shoulder!
Will pop round on Wed pm - see what you think Kev.
