SORRY FOR THE LATE NOTICE I JUST FOUND OUT TODAY MYSELF. STARTS 930A.M DONT BE LATE . FOR THOSE LIKE ME DOING JACK TOMORROW IT MAYBE AN INTERESTING DAY.FULBECK AIRFIELD IS ON THE A17 OUT OF NEWARK.FOR THOSE HOW HAVE NEVER HEARD NEWARK ITS 10 MILES OR SO FROM NOTTINGHAM.

 

Twas a good day out... I was running no 71 in the white Nova.. Few problems including my brakes almost locking solid due to the heat I gave them but had a laugh!!

excellent day out .i could not believe the quality cars and preperation that went into the races, wasnt far off the real thing.
i went to look at howard in his yellow scooby.im suprised this event was not mentioned on scoobynet earlier.free entry ,cant grubble.and i did see you saturday. next time they have the event there again post a thread.so many people on scoobynet would of enjoyed it. 10 times better than watching a track day.

Next event locally is the Wolds Rally at Swinderby on Sunday September 7th - just off the A46 on the way to Lincoln from Newark..

Ive put my entry in for it so gotta get the car ready now.. just a couple of things to sort - like brakes (lol) and ready for the off. Already looking forward to it!!

Oh and what do you mean it was nearly as good as the real thing? This is the real thing!!! The budgets may be lower than WRC but this is the budget end of the sport.. Mind you, bet some of the top boys there spent > 3k to compete in total ..!
