Hi Guys
As its show time this time of year how do you all fancy combining a meet with a show ?
On the weekend of the 28th and 29th there is the Japanese Auto & Performance Show - Thoresby, nr Ollerton Nottinghamshire. Its quite a distance Between Mansfield and Lincoln !!!!
Lets all meet at Leicester Forest East service station Northbound on the M1. If we all meet here at least we are all heading off in the right direction !!!
Also we could pick up the likes of Ken and his posse where the
M1 meets the A42, we can bell as we pass and just join on to the convoy
Then take M1 J28 through mansfield A38 then onto A6075 onto Ollerton
At Ollerton A416 North to Thoresby Park where the show is.
9.00am meet up at LFE North bound to leave at 9.30am.
That should get us to the show around 10.30am(ish) !!!! You dont have to be there all day and anyone can leave when they want to.
Please post any suggestions that might help on the day.
If someone is willing to bring along a BBQ then we could have some hot/burnt food. Everyone bring their own food and drink though.
I will get hold of the Subaru banners and flag.
As always you can contact me on
07947 043 424
Cheers
Neal

Well i did already have my name on the Derby/Notts meet on the 29th as per dis but presuming u lot dont fancy that, they r a good lot thou & many familiar faces, i suppose i wood b needed 4 this un since u woodn't survive without me lol
NB There is also this meet on the 6th of July which normally has a mass of fine cars as per previous meet pix but they seem to have been lacking a mass of flat four boxer burbles so i fort in addition to tyre kicking sum nice motors we can show wot a gr8 car the scoob is. So kum on dont make me turn up on my own again otherwise they'll disappointed when they meet scooby owners in the future & they dont match up2 my high standards lmfao!

normally it's 1000 miles, but with this little project we're gonna do 1500 miles before we give it "large"
sounds quite nice though and still nice to drive even with 'cruise speed'. Lost a bit of the flat four noise due to a last minute "ooh that manifold's a bit of art, yep stick it on the bill and we'll worry about how much it is later" bit of madness.
If you haven't seen the HKS manifold for the impreza, check it out.........you'll want one
100 miles done in 24 hours due to work.........but have to work to earn money to pay for it

alternative solution:
Regional organiser for SIDC is trying to do a 1st SIDC meet next weekend by the looks of it as per SIDC thread over in Bromsgrove area. Does any1 fancy that as it'd b nice to show them wot scoobynet is capable of & Darren this might tempt u the 4mentioned organiser has a UK scooby which previously dynoed at 346bhp from a few tweaks & has since had it rebored to 2.2ltr & remapped so u might at least have a bit of a challenge U game?

Hello Neal
Will def have my car back on Tuesday, so stick my name down.
I have been five weeks without the scoob and it has been a killer. Just looking forward to the feel of the turbo again after driving the last month in the wifes 316.
I managed to get a bigger spoiler and colour coded wing mirrors and door handles out of the 'deal', so not too bad. Thinking of the MRO front Air Dam next, comments?

will be up for posing at next meet but I don't think I'll be up for pushing the car by then, 1500 miles is quite a lot when running in - takes time. Trying to do miles with all the gears and no motorway work
