Well after the success of mini meet number 2, I thought why waste time !. I have checked out other threads etc and there appears to be nothing clashing around this date. Hopefully not too many of you will be on holiday either ?

I am proposing that we do something similar to 27th April and end up at the Clock Warehouse. I thought this venue seemed ok and the establishment are happy to accomodate car clubs. The VW lot seemed shocked when 40 scoobys turned up ! great sight ! I will check with the Clock Warehouse and we may even be able to get the function room (Although it has to be FOC). That way we can all get together and chat/meet each other properly.

I think that the convoy was excellent although the landlord at the Festival was non too pleased about us gate crashing his car park, so maybe we could meet somewhere more public next time, a well known park or something (Open to suggestions).

Ikea would be no good on a sunday you cant get in to shop never mind we all meet up, what about just up the road from the festival the carpark for halfords, focus diy and somerfield very big carpark and very rarely a quarter full

How about meeting at Elvaston Castle, near Borrowash, Derby, massive grounds good for a kick about and plenty of parking too..

Costs around £1.20 per car but no hassle or need to move on.

Just a thought.

Count us in for any convoy help maps or tag cars, bro as well (rsfocus). Not being boring but we liked the slow cruise on the way showing off the motors, we did the fast stuff on the way home! We got a great reaction from the public we saw a few people stood counting us all! And loss count of the mind boggled oncoming drivers!! But hey whatever smaller faster groups should be fun. Shall we all come up with some convoy etiquette?? waiting along the way at designated points (layby's & big roads!)'N' stuff? Ad&debs
