Salsa I was the one sat outside entrance to macdonalds never seen so many cars in a line on southbound m1 had to turn round at leicester though where did you all end up! K9VYN you passed me on the bypass looks nice mate its a shame i had to go i was enjoying myself, mind you nearly got smashed up the back end by a speeding jag coming out of leicester forest east sevices tw@t!

Was a good night. Most of us ened up in makro's car park in the end but the whole industrial estate had modified motors parked in all the little car parks. Not many t**ts about or tho there was a few with fireworks and the usual doing burn outs. "when will they grow up!!"

cheers for that. i take it that was you on the A46? what time did you leave, we headed back around 11pm? there were lots of cars, and plenty of nice ones too. there were several Scooby's most of which I didn't know and a couple that weren't keen to make acknowledgement.

On the whole people were pretty well behaved though and as stated before, the police presence was in an observatory capcity only - that's how these things should run.. smoothly.

Mikey,sorry about the late reply - I'm having to get the cambelt replaced as a nice big groove is being worn down the middle of it by a guide . Spotted by Glen at TSL when I was getting the 4wheel alignment done. It was the cause of that weird intermittent squeak/rattle that I'd been getting over the past few weeks. Could have been worse, it could have snapped and lunched the engine which doesn't bear thinking about.

 

a brill nite Kev...i got home around 1:40am!!
after evry one seemed to head back to Nottm for some serious Traffic light races!!! muppets!!!

every car park had modde cars in it.
Macro at Leciester had never been so full!! lol
police were great too...no hassles.

and i did do some...'networking' as you call it.

best cruise i've been to so far!

go pulled by the police at B/Marsh last nite for a Vehical Examination.IN THE B/M car park..they were pullin anything though..eevn taxi's
i passed!!! just have to take docs to police staion in 7 days!
worst thing was..i wasn't out last nite cruising...i's drped off some post at my solicitors (regent st) and bank (vic st)
so only passed them the once...still waved me in though...didn't spend long looking over my car!!!...some they had jacked up!!!
the examiner said my car sounded nice!!!
least they would pull the 'sheds' off the road!

Hopefully you'll make a few pretty pennies from the excursion. Never mind the vehicle examination - in a way if you ain't in a rush its quite cool that they pulled you in, perhaps expecting to get you for something and then end up with nothing.

Maybe they were just interested in the car. Who knows, but if they ain't got nothing on you, you can just smile and go on your merry way. You never know.. if they had stopped you that night the car jackers had chased you, it may never have happened - get my drift, could have been a blessing in disguise!
