Basically from M1 Jct 28 A38 North/East towards Mansfield to the island by the hospital, carry on towards Mansfield Woodhouse, pub is on left just after lights at top if hill.

Just rechecked and I may be able to make the 19th.
The Fox does excellent meals and very fine Steaks if anyone feels a little hungry when they arrive.

Just noticed on the map and in earlier instructions it shows a roundabout on the A38 near Kings Mill Hosiptal.
As of a few weeks ago its not there anymore. Its now a large 5 lane traffic light Junction with a McDonalds, B&Q superstore and Ashfield Gateway wind generator on the left hand side.
Go straight on at this Junction and the Fox and Crown is at the next lights at the top of the Hill.

I should be okay for it if it remains on a weekday...
I am 200miles darn sarf every weekend!
I might even bring the Scooby up that week especially.. and leave the bike at home in the garage on it's own.. well I suppose it can talk to the lawn mower... did I type that out loud... sorry trying to find some light relief from the paper work I am trying to complete..

food was talked about at the last meet and this pub does better food an no one will rip there spoilers off the front of the car the castlewood pub has big speed ramps i will check the car park out later today but the last time i was there it was all the way round the pub soo plenty of room
ok just been down to see car park ,room for about 60 cars but they doo food soo may be a little busy .. should b enough space for us lot .... there are two speed ramps as u drive on the car park BECAFEFUL THEY ARE NOT PAINTED OR MARKED

There are a few of us from around Mansfield on the bbs. Its been a little quiter with holidays etc but there is usually something going on around Notts.
Get yourself along to the trackdays at Donnington, its a great day out for free. (unless you go on track then it gets expensive )
How long have you had the type R as I know someone round here who has recently sold one?

Can some brother from the street please translate that into english?
There is a South Staffs Meet on the 4th Sept, depends when they are going to have their North Staffs one.(11th seems to be the prefered date from ChrisB).
The Nottingham lot seem fairly quiet? Must be too busy chasing Corsa's & Saxo's around Broadmarsh
Let's go for the 19th as that week is clear at the moment.
