Thank You guys. No engine Light

I know very little about this car. I could not pass it up for the price. it is irish reg as I live in both London and the Republic of Ireland.

It has a very noticeable hesitation when accelerating up through the gears, the exhaust tail pipes are very very black.
Has an induction kit and exhaust system, beyond that I don't know.
At a steady 80mph it feels like its cutting out(jumping).
I'm not very good at explaining these things Sorry.

Thanks again for your Help guys.

Could you explain the cutting out a bit more? Does it feel like its pulling and than bang into the brick wall , loosing the power? Boost hesitation is up and down with a split second intervals or just very very short ones when pulling? Has it been mapped on the mods? The black exhaust pipes would indicate running very rich, so deffo map needs to be checked. More info would help thought...

Boost(I think) hesitation is up and down, hesitation is split second intervals.

when accelerating its as if the boost is cutting in and out, I'm saying boost but it could be fuel problem or sensor like someone suggested.
I have no idea if it has been Mapped with the mods. The garage where I bought the car were just like all other dealers "We no nothing about the car Sir, other than it is a fantastic car Sir" typical dealer .

Are you FB Tuning, if you are may I call you and get it looked at, I will be back in the UK tomorrow. I would like to get it done ASAP incase I do any further damage.

Frank , Rich@FB contact number is on my signature , give him a buzz.. I think what's happening is your ecu is correcting over boost by dropping it down when it starts to over boost, if its decated and not mapped so it defo might be the case. Get in touch with Rich asap...before something terrible happens..
