Spanners out!
Another great day @FB Can't say that about the yesterdays weather thought
Object : Fridge II in silver
The car in general was ok for the age , but wanted to personalize it for my liking.
As i've bought it we have found a couple little things to sort out , but when mapping we've found a notorious turbo wining, so i've decided to go for TD05 16G with 1bar actuator as a replacement ..It felt ok and the map was very pleasant, very smooth on low gears , but after a while i was missing the VF spool and a bit of tourque. After research and what was on the market i decided to go for VF34/35/30. All 35's were cracked for the silly money, 34's were even more silly money as their very much desired ATM. So i've found myself a brand new vf30 for peanuts and went for it.
It feels great and gives me all that i was missing from 16g. The tourque band is very long , pulls hard to the red line ( well alomost, as i never rev it till there for known reasons )
While fitting the turbo the inlet pipe has split So i've changed it to the sillicone one i had from the Fridge I . Man, that was a hell of the job, Rich pulled his spanners out and i helped a bit to make it faster.
It took us good 3 hours to make this mess and put everything back. In the mean while Rich was doing the engine bay i've fitted my new pads , as i was making to fade my stock brembo ones in a couple good Middx ring sprints
I'm doing a test track eve @ Brands soon so it will be very interesting how it will perfom . Really looking forward to it .
Thank you for your time ....
