I'd come along as a spectator - not ready to break the car yet

You won't break the car on this track, huge run off, unless you mean mechanically, which is possible lol.

Tempting...

Thanks

I mean the latter, some final bits to do before I convince her indoors that the car should really go on the track

Earliest one for me will probably be May. If all goes to plan a whole new suspension setup is going on as well as gauges and maybe an oil cooler. (June and July is a no go due to family commitments, so then Aug onwards).

There is a few cheaper full day track days at Bedford on ClubMSV at the moment, SEN circuit for £129 on the 12th, £149 on the GT in April.

Not that bad a price for £159 as it goes.

Thanks

An oil cooler may be overkill, but give me a bell before doing the rest

You want at least a 10-40w, ( I use 10-50w) looking at temps of around 100-110 a good oil cooler is a good idea...

Ricky
I didn't have a oil cooler at first but as confidence grew I pushed the car harder resulting in higher oil temps so I had one fitted. I also had the thermostat where the oil filter is. I had trouble free oil temps after it was installed
