Default The retro past

On the side l buy old retro cars and restore them and then just put them away. Its an expensive hobby and a lot of hard work. I currently own 5 retro cars all fully restored and put away. Back in the days when l was 17 (not long ago) l left education and started working as a pizza delivery driver for 4 years. Best time of my life out every evening cruising in my car and getting paid. I use to own a MK2 Vauxhall Cavalier GLS l loved it to bits. I really missed this car and a couple of weeks ago whilst browsing ebay to my suprise l found the exact same car. It was not the actuall car but it was exactly the same. Even the colour so l just had to have it. I love this car and love driving it. The mot runs out at the end of the month and then the project will begin. Heres a couple of phone photo's might bring back some memories for some of you..

Just a random photo of my ST

Cav looks awesome! Used to love the look of those rims.

Get some pics up of the other retro cars if you can Rikky, they'll go down well here no doubt!

I'm toying with doing an old school van as a bit of a camper, not a VW as they are too expensive but maybe a Bedford CF or Mk 1/2 tranny

I just need a hobby as hopefully the scoob will be all but finished early next year

Great mate

It brings back memories of my first girlfriend in the early 90's, I was just 17 & remember following her on the way to college in my mk2 Golf, she getting dropped off in her mums blue Cavalier just like that one. We'd both then bunk the day off, care free & naive, ................those were the days!!!
