Great stuff girls, top job.
Really looking forward to seeing it in action now. I still think it's a cop out that Lins isn't driving...poor excuse she's using if you ask me.

Quick update!
Thanks Jackie & Janine for venturing into deepest Hertfordshire today, and for weilding a mean paint brush! Oh & my god how good is Janine with a roll of masking tape?
Seat in, harness in, one cushion required.
The car is really starting to look good - even better than the 'pink' thing from last year
We are hoping to have our last push on Sunday 12 September, though there shouldn't be much left to do then.
Oh, and girls, how pathetic did she make the boys car sound when we started them up

Good to hear they are both up and running and I`m wondering how you managed it as we had your best two mechanics in ESC MLR500 HQ today.
And if you spoke to Jackie although you probably can`t hear her at the moment you would know that`s not the ladies team name. Rodney I heard that pardon.

God you are soooooo far behind - but why doesn't that surprise me?
We initially booked in with Mechell as ESC Team 1 & Team 2 Ladies as at the time we didn't know exactly who was up for it!
Then it became Team WAGS - no reference to location, you'll note.
Then, when we decided on the 'theme' for the car we decided to become Team Scooby Doo.
This has not YET been updated with Mechell as she will also want the names of the team members - and this is changing on a weekly basis!
I suggest you MSOC boys concerntrate on your cars, as you have a bit more to worry about than our bloody name!
Oh, and finally, might I suggest you stop drinking whilst taking antibiotics - it clearly is neither big nor clever!
Oh & before some smartarse comments, yes we have changed our minds several times, but as women that is our perogative!!

Well, the second coat went on today. The car is both looking & sounding good. Few graphics & swirly girlie bits to add, a make up mirror to fit, then we should be ready to Rock n Roll!
(said in an Aussie accent) 'Can you tell what it is yet?'

If our mens go karting session is anything to go by the women will walk it
I`m getting some yellow overalls and practising waving my arms about FTW.
Then I`m going to make sure everyone`s time penalty is a lot longer than ours.
I`m not bitter I`m not bitter I`m not bitter.............................OK I`M BITTER.

You might have been over competitive, but I think that is better than cheating! You certainly were steaming through the field....
Thanks for having confidence in us - I for one am really looking forward to this now. Girl power!

The girls car makes me smile every time I walk past it I think it`s partly the garish paint job and partly because I know the car could do it again this year and I`d actually like to see them do it.
If they are`nt trying hard enough i`m sure we can give them a nudge to help them along.

Well today saw a gathering of both the teams at MLR HQ Hertfordshire - in full! Yes, everyone was there! Even The Boss got his hands dirty!
We were able to finish both cars all except for a few graphics and then gave them a quick blat around the field.
The boys soon discovered their car wasn't as good as the girls & quickly retreated back into the workshop. Well they haven't got B3n as their cheif mechanic have they!
After several frantic minutes of fighting over power tools they re-emerged chuffed with themselves that they had cured their little problem.
We are not sure if they resolved the fight over who had the biggest tool?
Everyone got a chance to have a go around the field and this was certainly a confidence boost for the girls - they were throwing grass out the back like an industrial Flymo - KevD would be proud!
Unfortunately Janine was unable to test her specially installed 'Bitch Switch' but we are sure she'll put this to good use on the day. We did give her some masking tape to play with as compensation.
Both cars look and sound good, although I'm sure everyone there without exception will agree that the girls car was looking very very good & is certainly the one to watch out for on the day!
A little bit of sad news unfortunately Kelly300 is now unable to join the girls team, however we are pleased to say Trace 'The Stig' Stott Hammond came out of retirement to retake her rightful place in the drivers seat!
So to sum it up we have two cars ready to fight it out at the MLR in just under two weeks time, and all the drivers are looking forward to it!
So in the words of one of last years winning team lets 'AVE IT!

A couple of pics from the final weekend - just a few items we needed to add!
Notice Janine's own switch far right!
The vital item - will get plenty of use during pit stops!
