Random hose
My engine seems to be misfiring! It's recently went in for a new clutch! On inspection there is a hose coming from the top of the inlet manifold! It's only about a foot long and Is sucking air! But I can't see another hole or clamp where it would go! Could this be the cause of my misfire? All help would be appreciated!
Cheers guys!

Probably will be the cause of the misfire and you should address it as soon as you can before driving much. Unmetered air will be entering the manifold and will potentially cause the fuel mix to go lean at light loads and very rich on boost. Can you take a photo? Is it just a thin hose or a larger one?

Random hose!
That's what I'm thinking! I'm away from home for the weekend or id get my mate to have a look! Il take a photo in the morn as its to dark where I am! Id say it's medium about as wide as a 5p! Runs straight out the top of the inlet manifold down the back and out the right side! It's making a right hissing sound! That's how I noticed!

That's spot on! Only problem that little nipple was stil in my hose! That's why it didn't look like anywhere for it to go! Shouldn't be to expensive for that tho!

To be honest I'd stick to the standard valve, they're good for up to 1.7bar boost and won't mess anything up! I have a Turbosmart VTa on mine at the moment but I'm taking it off to fit a standard valve. Just makes more sense to me.

I was looking too, don't actually see any on there at the moment. Well, there's one but its £65 lol. I just searched Impreza recirculating valve.
