Yet another "since it was a nice day..."
Stunning day on sunday, would be rude not to.
Wheels came off because I FINALLY got hold of some genuine centre caps to fit, so gave them a clean, polish and coat of sealant.
Then it seemed a shame not to clean the car, so it got a snowfoam, 2BM, hand polish with Megs Ultimate then a top-up coat of AngelWax AG
Crap reflection shots as I drove around until it was almost dark, great day for a drive!
Looks like she's off into storage now for the summer, as I'm going overseas for 6 months
Had a whole year of shows, trackdays and meets planned. Maybe in 2015

Can't take credit for that, that belongs to Leeds_182
Thanks guys.
Need to do my research, and find somewhere to store it. If someone can lend me/rent me a garage - I'll probably leave it on jack stands (so tyres don't flat spot) with minimal fuel in the tank and battery disconnected. That way I can drop insurance to TPFT and SORN it.
When I get back, I'll do a full fluid change and hope she's good to go. Either that, or leave it with a friend and just have it driven out in every week or so - but need to keep it taxed and insured FC for that.
Thanks guys.

I left mine stood for 7-months while I was overseas - left it on a trickle charger and it started first time when I got back. A gentle spin around the block to clean the brakes off and then off to FB Tuning for a service and it was as good as the day I went away

Hmmm good call on the trickle charger. Cheers Jon.
Friend has offered me his garage, and he's got mains electric in there. If I leave it with him, insured TPFT - he can just idle it for me every weekend for 5 mins or so - or is it worth just letting it sit?

Idling can do more damage as the engine will never get up to temperature so condensation may collect and turn the oil like a blown head-gasket. Like I said, mine just sat under a cover (outdoors) from Jun until I came back from my hols after my overseas job, so Jan by time I started it and all was well. Didn't even have any dried out seals spit a dummy - rocker gasket had already so was expecting to do that but the crank and cam seals all remained good
