Default My New 08 Sti Prodrive

This is my third Subaru, had x2 Blob eye's before and thought I would test the waters with the Hatch.

My first opinions are it feels much much more solid in terms of handling and the old understeer has gone away.

This car is more sensitive in terms of alignment and tyres. Simply has to be spot on or you will notice more than its predecessors

Put in Sport # and its mind blowing. Love it so far!

looking to upgrade the springs. Ordered mud flaps and back windows to tint. Don't think I will tune the engine as my toy is fast enough.

Yeah basically had a full rebuild.

so around 8k spent on it from the previous owner.

The stickers have been removed from the bonnet.

I was thinking about putting the original but it does look more aggressive with it on.

looks really nice clean and in sunny weather.

Is it forged now?
Looks nice I quite like the bonnet but I'd lose the stickers from the whole car make it look a lot tidier IMO....needs the rear lights replacing to all reds.
Looks nice though what's the spec?

so you bought that car!! I saw it FS on the net a bit back.

I like the bonnet.. why not get it sprayed the colour of your car. I too think it looks aggresive

I'm looking at ordering a few sets of those red red light overlay from the company in the USA.. if i can get a few, it will cut down on the Postage.

Sounds good dude! Let me know the price and I'll have some. So you was looking at this car? Had gold alloys originally. Much better black

I want a front splitter also and mud flaps.

Another quick question do any of you lot go to meets? Interested if so.

The hatch has not grown on me yet but I do like the look of this one.

I love the bonnet as it does give it a more aggressive look I think.

Good buy!

Not a fan of the bonnet either mate. Each to their own though!

Rear overlays are a massive lift to the back of the car. Subaru should not have released the model with Lexarse lights as standard!

Before:

After:
(Apologies, car is ******* filthy)

Fitting them is straightforward, but it is a pain to do so wash your hands to get all the grease off them and set some time aside. I did mine over a very rainy weekend and watched the Karate Kid Trilogy (her choice) followed by the Mad Max Trilogy (mine) whilst doing them. I'm sure without distraction it could be done quicker but it is time consuming, the guy on that vid is amazing.

Bear in mind for the cutout look also that you need a red foglight bulb, or as Revolution recommend - some of the missus' nail varnish!

Here's my install:
