Ive added a few goodies over the years, I hope you all enjoy the photos!

This winter I have added a larger turbo and a FMIC and will be aiming for 600+whp. hopefully by mid summer I can have the funds for the larger turbo set-up im looking for

I finally had to walk away from the TMIC at 550whp.
it became a restriction

I am looking forward to what I can do with a proper FMIC.

ride height is set for handling and suspension geometry in mind I enjoy taking the car to the circuit course a few times a year.

I know, that's why I commented I'm a suspension nut and your ride height looks spot on

Fantastic work, good ride height too as bonesetter said

Can you measure the wheel centre to wheel fender distance front and rear and let us know?

Good to see people care more about the handling than the looks (it looks spot on for my taste anyway).

If I remember correctly

My rear is around 13.25" ( I was targeting 13.5 but my coilovers wont go up any more)

My front is 13.75-14.00

I would have to double check to be 100% sure!

Great, thanks!

So ideally the rear should be 0.25-0.5" lower than the front you are saying?

Have you thought of using spacers to raise the rear slightly to your ideal target?

its not really "lower" the arches are different heights, so when you measure from wheel center to the arch center the measurements should be .5" different front to rear with the rear being the "lower" number.

ideally you want your lateral links in the rear parallel to the ground or with a slight raise to them. never should the crossmember side be lower than the wheel hub side.

lowering any further than this drastically affects bump steer.

^I am aware of the angle of the lateral links as I experienced more roll when my car was more lowered even though the lateral links were horizontal and not \ /)

I have raised it now with custom made Bilsteins and the handling has improved dramatically. They are now pointing / \ instead of being parallel.

Should the car be horizontal or have positive/negative rake if you want it balanced and to only oversteer when provoked?

Looking at your above photo your car seems to have a very very slight positive rake, hardly noticeable though.

Is this intentional? I am trying to make the best of my setup hence the question.

Subscribed!

Ideally you want it to be horizontal. the goal is to balance the weight on each wheel equally. if you ever have a corner balance thats exactly what they do. adjust ride height to keep weight equal from corner to corner.

you are moving in the right path by raising your car and getting your links in a better position.

to adjust my oversteer, i will play with the rear shock dampening or adjust my rear sway bar from soft-hard.

Brilliant build and the car looks excellent. NASIOC is a very grown up site with some very clever people posting sensible stuff.

here is a short video of it at the subaru shoot out here.
I dont normally drag race the car but this is a big subaru gathering I enjoy going to each year.

on the 3rd run you can really hear the tires spinning!
