Default My PPP STi blobeye

Been on the forum for quite some years now but have owner vag stuff for the last 6.5years from a big turbo ihi Ibiza to a big turbo HTA2868 cupra r.

I got the scoob on Friday nights and was one of the cleanest scoobs for the money

I've stated to clean her up already.

Then made a start on the front end with aero catches, splitter, canards, zen sport grill, hella horns, white badges and decals, fmic and tow strap!

Made a blanking plate for the dump valves on the tmic:

Going to make a start on de tanging and de chroming the headlights got to wipe some 30mm tien spring on too, but also looking at a rear
Diffuser and 18" grids or revolution wheel in white too.

I'm wondering I've just finished my dv delete and I can't hear a thing, but I'm also running a standard air box too, would I need a cone filter to hear te chatter?

And would it be ok or would I need to have it mapped?!

Do I need to get the cone mapped or will it be fine?

What's the best cone to go for?

Why the blanking plate? I want the chatter sound I know that it can damage the turbo but the td05 is pretty tough !

Out of interest what bhp/torque can this engine take ? Fancy doing a 20g in the future, but coming from the back world you had to forge everything to make
Decent numbers safely!

I've ordered a s2000
Filters which I've used for years but reading people say a panal filter are better on these

Does anyone know what I can do with my induction cone?

It has a 80mm on it but I've noticed the maf sensor is in the air box?

How would I over come this ?

You would need an intake tube that the cone will fit on with the pre cut hole for the maf. I've got an rcm 80mm intake on mine and it sounds great.
Mine is running 353hp on a ported vf35, rcm complete exhaust and headers and remap and it's easily managing this power.

Ps.. Grill is on it's way.

Just a quick one,

Been collecting parts for my forged engine with 3076r and the 60k service !

And noticed today that the coolant tank is a slight brown colour? Now after abit of research seems to be the coolant conditioner tank? And subaru use a green colour coolant and anti freeze!

No engine issues, doesn't smell of oil so can anyone just have some input please

The front end looks really good with the exception of that number plate. Just order a smaller one - will tidy things up so much.

Will keep an eye on this one, seems like you've got big plans for it.
