Thumbs up

Mmmm - yes, very nice!

I've got to get some Gold P1's for myself, but I might stick with 17" - our roads are so crap that 18's could get bent quite easily...

Did you get yours from Tire Rack?

The roads here are pretty good do I went with the 18".

I did get them at tirerack.com. I ordered them on Friday and they showed up at my door Tuesday mounted and balanced. All I had to do was put them on my car. That site is awesome!

So Feckin' cool ...

The New age Impreza looks really strange on 16" wheels - it's sold with 17's as standard here...

Very nice motor m8....you can't beat those gold OZ's.....

Timbo.

Yeah you guys get a lot of stuff that we don't get over here. They do have the 17" BBS rims as a factory option but they are $3500! I paid a little over half that for the P1s and the Pzeros.

That's an essential upgrade from the 16"s!!

Is your car an STI? Didn't think they were available state-side, though that's probably just my ignorance

No it's not an STI. Just a couple stickers and fog light covers. The STI is not available here. There is talk about the STI coming over in early 2003.

Sticker price for the WRX is $24,520. I got mine in late September 2001 for $24,500 with the following options - rear spoiler, short shifter and the column mounted tubro gauge.

I'm amazed at how much of the US Rex is listed as "options". In Australia, we get the spolier standard, 17" rims standard, pin-number security system standard, etc. etc.

The UK boys get it even better - Prodrive options!

Unfortunately we don't get an option for a boost-guage! Have to look aftermarket for those...

As far as Scooby stuff goes we are definitly getting the short end of the stick in the US.

The column mounted boost gauge here in the US is a piece of crap.
Here are a couple of pics.

At least they do a good job of positioning the gauge.

And your steering wheel MOMO motif & layout and the centre console are slightly different to ours too...
