My 1999 GC8
My dad had this car since new, now he let me brought the car off him
The car has been off the road for the last 3 years, and now its finally been put back on
Do you think this car is the lowest mileage in the UK for the age? (Don't forget this car still have standard internals)

Looks good and that's the lowest mileage I've seen. Had a few £ spent on that.
Any more planned or just use it lol

Same colour as mine. Looks a lovely motor! I would keep an eye on the cambelt even at such low miles if its not been used in a while it will still age

How come it still age? Last time the cambelt been changed was 10 years ago. The car has always been garaged. Do you think it still needs changing?

It's made from a rubber compound, rubber with age will dry out, crack, shrink with heat, I have had many a friend who have had cam belt issues after long periods of not using them. For the minimal costs its not worth the risk.
