Default New toy......R32 GTR!

As some of you will know I sold my 450bhp classic Impreza as I replaced it with an R32 GTR Skyline. It's been away for paint with Ryan (Prodriverules) but now it's back

Thanks to Ryan and Jeff for all the work they've done on the body

Some sunny pics for you all!

Love these cars but could never afford to run one, always fancied a R33 even though it is considered an inferior car to the R32!

I have seen this car from when it was came into Ryan's workshop to how it was when it left and the turnaround has been brilliant.

The car is looking great and it's opened my eyes to getting a Skyline myself, not sure when yet but they do look nice especially in the same colour as yours.

Cheers for the comments lads! I expect a few Impreza owners have seen this car at Ryan's, he's got a few littering the carpark!! A few more small things to finish and then it's time to enjoy it!

As good as she looks in the pics it's far better in person,a real beasty looking machine and one of my favourite paint jobs thus far.

Quite a big spec really. The car was a one owner car in Japan and the bloke spent a fortune and had everything done by a company called ZeniTani who are a RH9 tuner. After doing everything myself on my old Impreza I know hoe much it costs to build a decent car, that's why I started with a built Skyline as parts are pretty pricy lol!

I do love those R32's and that looks a fine example, what's the power delivery like compared to your old impreza?

More driveable tbh. It pulls from lower down in the rev range and is stronger all the way. It's running twin hks 2530's so they're not huge (spool well) but produce decent power. The Mine's R34 uses them. I drove a supposedly 700bhp big single before I bought this one and there was absolutely nothing below 5k, then everything all at once until 8k but that was on an old design large turbo. HKS T04Z would be the next step but this is PLENTY quick enough for the road.

GORGEOUS!!! Best Skyline in the best colour. Really tempted with one of these next. Id ask about running costs but with that spec its a little out of my range anyway!

Car looks stunning and in the best colour imo. Probably my favorite model skyline to.

Any interior shots ?.The ones ive driven/been in always felt very dated inside which put me off owning one.

I never imported it myself, it was imported in 2006. There's not a huge amount of them for sale in the uk but you can still buy decent standard....ish and modified ones. Prices range from £8k or £9k up to £15k. Clean tidy standard ones car fetch £10k or £11k and modified ones don't necessarily command a huge premium. This one will have cost me about £14k when finished but take parts prices in mind when buying, a rebuild can be from £3.5k to £9k!!

Awesome machine. R34 for me but this is still a very quick car in stock form (sub 8min Nurburgring I believe) and already a desirable classic.

Interior isn't finished yet and neither is the engine bay so I'll add some pics once its finished. Fitting some Recaro SR seats and a few other small things to brighten up the interior. Here's how it looked with a previous owner (cage foam is black now btw)

It's close for me between the R32 and R34 but they are still too pricy for me (+£25k)

This car has been the same price since it came into the country 7 years ago go hopefully it'll increase in value soon
