Default My Version 5 STi Diary to date

Just wanted to share with you some of the things I`ve been doing to my Scoob since ive took ownership of her

To Start off with She`s a Version 5 STi imported into the country. Brand Spanking new with Delivery mileage on the 13-10-1999
With 90% of her life being looked after by Power Engineering in Uxbridge,
with a full and Extensive Service History

The List of modifications are

Simtek Alcatek Ecu & Map By Simon Roe JGM
Knock Link And Lambda Link Set up by Bob Rawle
Full Vortex Afterburner exhaust system from the Turbo back
Still running Std VF28 turbo
Blitz SUS induction Kit running Maf less set up
NGK pfr 7Bs plugs
upgraded HT Leads
Exedy pink box Clutch and lite weight Flywheel
Sti Pink struts and HKS Lowering Springs
Forge DV
17" OZ Prodrive P1 Alloys with Goodyear Eagle F1 rubber
Whiteline ARBs
Private Reg S400 00B

Im Sure theres more ive missed

Well this is what she looked like when i picked her up

I then thought id have ago at Flyeyes and painting the Wedges

But I didnt like it in the end next up was to remove the blue mud flaps and to add the lowering springs just to give it a better look,
but it has took me by surprise how much better it feels running the HKS Springs over the Std STi setup

Next up for the Chop was the Blue painted 4pots and to add Window Tints
So this is how she looks at present,
next on the list is FMIC front Spliter and to get the JDM Spats colour coded and to get Simon Roe to Add Anti Lag and pops & Bangs to my map

Very nice! How are the jdm spats different? Was the lights on the green scooby tinted with film?

Love it

Saw the first picture and thought it would look so much better without the mudflaps and calipers and was pleasantly suprised as I worked down the thread!

Default Looks good

Hi I have had my V5 Sti for the last 7 years. I was thinking of fitting lowering springs like you as it sits a little high. I have 18" wheels but dont want the ride to be any harder than on the standard springs.

How have you found it and are you running 17 or 18" rims?

PS JGM mapped mine 379.3bhp on Syvecs and SC40!

I'm running 17" s the ride has got a little more harder but the overall handling has improved so much and really gives more confidence on the twisty bits

Looks good.
I'd remove that horrible rear fog and have it in the rear cluster.
