Ha ha, yeah that's true.
It's very Marmite and I don't like it personally but it does look like they have done a good job.
The write up is very good, can't wait for the 6 month review.

I like it, I wanted to do my old track MR2 like this but the paint was expensive compared to £25 for matt black rattle cans

Nothing abusive to add but it looks like £15 not £1500
The concept is sound the colour is regrettable

+1, I've seen these jobs done on driveways on a nice day - certainly not £1500s worth of work as there isn't even any prep to do other than a quick wash

Sorry mate, but what were you thinking when you decided on that colour. OMG. Maybe a different colour would work better.

For me, it's not so much the colour, but the car.
I think matte purple would of worked on an aggressively styled STI saloon and 18 inch black wheels.
But a standard bug wagon just doesn't pull it off imo.
Have to be honest and say that it looked better in the shiny mica blue.
Bright side though, at least you can just peel it off yourself lol

Jeez I can't think of any OE colour that I'd want to replace with that!
